Practice makes perfect.  I have heard this all my life.  You want to be a great artist, practice, practice, then do it some more.  When that gets old, start practicing!  This call was done the following year and the results are clearly visible.  No more “folk” art look.   They actually looks like mallard ducks and better, I even really like it! Carved out of burled walnut, these mallard ducks glide down the duck call with the wind at their backs! This very old duck call is one of my very prized possessions!
